How it Works

Simply register your details and enter your planned journey, where and when you are planning your trip and the system will automatically try and find a suitable match for you.

The registration process asks for your full name, email address, telephone number and home postcode amongst other things, but please be assured that this is just for security reasons and that we are registered with the Data Protection Act 1998.

The Tripshare system works using a very neutral process of identification through a simple 'nick name', no further personal information is shared without our members' prior consent.

• Members of private schemes can search for potential matches inside and outside their private schemes.
• Same sex searching is available i.e. Females can decide to just search for other females to share their journey with
• Through individual our members are able to search a network that covers the whole of the UK posting any type of journey at any time.
• Members are able to find matches to car share and taxi share with as well as finding walking and cycling buddies.
• Liftshare the organisation running the search engine software continually monitor all traffic between its users.
